Our goal with this design was to show-off the confidence and pose of the “Cane Corso” breed. We also wanted to pay homage to the breeds roots from Italy.
Featured in this design is a Roman Centurion Solider. The Centurion soldiers were a smaller unit within the Roman Legion.
The Roman Legions raised their own battle dogs from the Molloser, an old mastiff-like breed. They were primarily used as watchdogs or scouts, but some had spiked collars and armor and were trained to fight in formation.
