During the Vietnam War, military working dogs played a critical role by detecting enemy traps, tunnels, ambushes, and hidden explosives, ultimately saving more than 10,000 U.S. lives. Despite their bravery and loyalty, most of these dogs were classified as equipment by the Department of Defense and left behind at the war’s end—abandoned, euthanized, or transferred to South Vietnamese forces, with only about 200 returning home. This tragic outcome prompted former handlers to advocate successfully for legislative change, leading to the passage of "Robby’s Law" in 2000, which now prioritizes military working dog adoption to former handlers, law enforcement agencies, and qualified families.

Proceeds from this shirt will be donated to the Fisher House Foundation. The Fisher House is a charitable organization we’ve proudly supported over the years, providing comfort homes where military and veteran families can stay free of charge while thier loved ones receive hospital care.
